The 2004-05 San Joaquin Energy IQ Program
The San Joaquin Energy IQ Program is a third-party informational program funded through the California Public Utilities Commission for the 2004-05 program cycle. The program includes San Joaquin County, and the cities of Tracy and Manteca. One of the primary objectives of the San Joaquin Energy IQ Program is to work with small businesses, residents, and city and county staff to build the infrastructure for future energy efficiency projects by raising the awareness, performing audits, and establishing the appropriate networks and relationships within the community.
This program includes:
- complete energy audits for small businesses
- development and distribution of energy efficiency brochures
- email campaigns
- participation in city events
- coordinating meetings and seminars for small businesses and contractors
City and county staff, local chambers of commerce, community-based organizations, and faith-based organizations are involved in the San Joaquin Energy IQ Program.
