Home Green Home Kiosk Program Launched at Arrowhead Credit Union Kiosks Provide EE Information
San Bernardino-The Home Green Home Kiosk program was launched Tuesday, February 19 at the Arrowhead Credit Union's San Bernardino branch. Sixteen user-friendly, high-tech kiosks deliver energy efficiency information to home owners at Arrowhead Credit Union branches in the Inland Empire. Four additional kiosks are in branches of the East West Bank. The program is implemented by Intergy, with Geltz Communications and RSR Productions providing creative and marketing support. Sponsored by Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison, the kiosks offer:
- Tips for saving energy, money, and the environment;
- Ways to collect rebates for energy-efficiency programs and services;
- Information on energy-efficiency upgrades for your home, and on loans to help finance your improvements; and
- A Home Energy and Water Efficiency Survey that can provide custom recommendations for ways to conserve energy in your home and a gift certificate for survey participation.
The program launch generated a large amount of media coverage, both print and broadcast. Larry R. Sharp, President/CEO at Arrowhead Credit Union helped initiate the kiosks. "Our goal is to help our members to make educated, energy-related decisions, in turn reducing their energy costs and increasing their homes' comfort and value," he said.
