 City Event Participation

Summary of Task
Intergy will participate in a total of six City Events. San Joaquin Energy IQ Program booths will be set up in these events. Experienced Intergy staff will be available to hand out energy efficiency information and answer any related questions. These events will be coordinated in partnership with the local Cities of San Joaquin County and the Chambers of Commerce. These events offer a valuable question and answer forum for local businesses and residents who may be uncertain as to the economic benefits of energy efficiency and how they can take advantage of financial incentives. The face-to-face information provided is much more extensive than can be included in the brochures.
Current Status
As of 05/31/05, four City events have been completed.
City Event 1 - On March 17, 2004 Intergy participated in the State of the Union event in the City of Tracy. A San Joaquin County Energy IQ Program booth was set up. The event attracted over 250 local business owners and residents. Energy Efficiency informational materials were disseminated and questions were answered in a face to face setting.
City Event 2 - On August 8, 2004 Intergy participated in the Dry Bean Festival. This festival was attended by more than 20,000 local businesses and residents. The San Joaquin Energy IQ Program had a booth that was manned by experienced Intergy staff. This event was highly successful in that detailed discussions were held with more than 80 local businesses and residents. This event was coordinated with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce.
City Event 3 - On October 2 & 3, 2004, Intergy participated in the Manteca Pumpkin Fair. This festival was attended by more than 40,000 local residents. The San Joaquin Energy IQ Program had a booth manned by experienced Intergy staff. Detailed discussions were held similar to the Tracy Dry Bean Festival. This event was coordinated with the Manteca Chamber of Commerce.
City Event 4 - On March 31, 2005 Intergy participated in the Tracy State of the City Address. With about 200 attendees, the setting provided a good forum for personal interaction with customers. Our outreach was coordinated with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce and the City of Tracy.
City Event 5 - On August 10-11, Intergy participated in the Manteca Pumpkin Festival. We spoke at length with dozens of people about specific rebate programs and energy efficient and renewable generation technologies. This event was coordinated with the Sunrise Kiwanis.
